Who we are?
Our law firm has over 50 years of combined experience and
its principals have been engaged in the Real Estate industry from the late
70’s.
We have always been at the forefront to represent
individuals in periods of crisis. For
example, in the Savings and Loans crisis of the mid to late 80’s when the
S&L crisis had an 800 Billion price tag for its bail out, we were
representing investors and property owners. Additionally, in the mid to late 80’s when the real estate market
started to go south and turn around in the early 90’s our firm represented
hundreds of property owners in short sales and loan modification in excess of
250 million dollars.
Currently, we manage in excess of 1.0 million square feet of
property in residential, commercial and Industrial space. Our average cash on cash return is in the
high single digit for the last 20 years and often in various time periods have
been in low to mid double digits with management costs of an average of less
than 2 percent.
We work on loan modifications, bankruptcy, and short sales since the
current mortgage and financial crisis calls for attention and professional
help in these areas.
Who we are not?
There are numerous organizations out there calling
themselves “mortgage consultants” in an “an attorney based organization.” Beware:
many of these “consultants” will tell you that they have a team of attorneys when
they actually have access to attorneys for consultation. We are a law firm of attorneys who handle
your case from beginning to end.
Furthermore, the various organizations out there can not do
anything for you if and when your loan modification is denied, since we are a
law firm, we can prepare and file bankruptcy for you or short sell your house
if those are necessary avenues for you to take.
Recent Fallouts and Crisis
In early 2003 and throughout 2004 our firm issued warnings
in our newsletters to clients that, based on current values and inventories,
the real estate market was over all historical indexes and that it was time to
liquidated. All those who followed are
enjoying a very strong cash position and will be able to make some rebound
investments over the next 3-5 years. Those who did not are included among the millions who are in trouble
today- who decided to ride the wave of the illusory economic mirage and now
have “paper money”- facing a 50% drop in what they believed was the value of
their homes.
